Crystal church continues to serve meals in time of need
A church in Crystal is continuing to serve its community meals after COVID-19 concerns briefly put its operations on pause.
As it provided meals of the community during the pandemic, Serenity Village Community Church saw a large number of people line up for food.
However, because of concerns from neighbors about the large amounts of traffic, the church had to stop giving out food.
According to church officials, they had to throw away some of the food used for the meals that had become expired because they had to stop their operations.
The church, however, was able to figure out a way to continue its good deeds.
Now, residents who are in need of a meal can pick up food by making appointments with the church. Those who need meals can contact Serenity Village Community Church at 763-533-3929.
