Watch for lane closures along I-494 this weekend

Drivers can expect another round of lane and ramp closures this weekend in the east metro.

Interstate 494 will stay open, but there will be lane restrictions in both directions between Dodd Road and Highway 55 in Eagan starting at 7 p.m. Friday. A couple of ramps will close as well:

  • I-35E northbound to I-494 westbound (Friday at 11:30 p.m. until June 1)
  • I-494 westbound to I-35E southbound (Friday at 7 p.m. until May 11)

Meanwhile, starting Monday morning, the westbound side of I-494 will be down to two lanes between Dodd Road and Highway 55 until June 1.
