MDH: COVID-19 deaths total 64 in Minnesota, 1,427 positive cases

Saturday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported 91 additional COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 1427 reported cases.
Sixty-four total deaths have also been reported, with seven additional deaths reported Saturday.
The department stated, as of Saturday, the state has completed 9,292 tests and private labs have completed 26,112 tests, a total of 35,404.

Of the cases in Minnesota, 340 have needed hospitalization, and 145 of those patients are still in the hospital.
According to MDH, 793 patients have recovered from the illness.
According to the Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering, the virus has infected about 1.7 million people worldwide and killed about 100,000.
More than 377,000 people have recovered as of Saturday.
