U of M suspends study abroad in China due to coronavirus
The University of Minnesota has suspended study abroad in China due to concern over the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the university’s website, the decision to suspend student travel and education abroad programs in China for Spring 2020 is in accordance with recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. State Department.
U of M officials said students who are scheduled to depart for programs in China will be re-routed to other international destinations.
