St. Louis Park Walgreens robbed by men wearing surgical masks

A St. Louis Park Walgreens was robbed Monday night by two men wearing surgical masks.

According to a release from the St. Louis Park Police Department, officers responded to the Walgreens at 7200 Cedar Lake Rd. at 6:34 p.m. Monday on a report of an armed robbery.

Two male suspects approached the Walgreens wearing surgical masks, according to the police. One of the men was holding a bag and provided a note implying that they had a weapon, however, the weapon was never seen. 

The other suspect jumped the counter and took an unknown amount of medication. Both suspects then fled the store and headed west on Cedar Lake Road. It is believed that the suspects fled in a vehicle.
