Cretin-Derham Hall rallies in second-half to top Alexandria 77-71
Cretin-Derham Hall sneaks past Alexandria late after the Cardinals led most of the way 77-71 capitalizing on Clemson commit Chase Thompson’s second-half injury.
Notre Dame commit, Tommy Ahneman, led the Raiders scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to go along with a handful of blocks. Ty Schlagel posted 20 points including multiple crunch-time rack attacks.

Thompson valiantly fought through a shoulder injury in the second half but could not continue and exited with just under nine minutes to play. Thompson finished with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
Mason Witt fought hard in Thompson’s absence scoring 24 points on the night to keep the Cardinals attached to CDH but the star power from the Raiders proved too much.
A superstar showdown between two Power Four commits in the post did not disappoint at the Breakdown Boys Tip-Off Classic.
