MDH: 1,912 total COVID-19 cases, 94 deaths
On Thursday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported 103 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 1,912.
Seven more deaths were reported on Thursday as well; so far 94 Minnesotans have died from the virus.
The MDH stated that state laboratories have completed 9,745 tests and private laboratories have completed 31,930 tests, for a total of 41,675.

Of the cases in Minnesota, 475 have required hospitalization. On Thursday, there were 213 patients in the hospital and 103 in intensive care.
According to the MDH, 1,020 patients have recovered and no longer need isolation.
According to the Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering, the virus has infected about 2,069,819 people worldwide and killed 137,193.
About 517,931 people have recovered from the virus.
