Rain showers off and on tomorrow through Monday

Today’s high temperatures were back in the mid-50s, with plenty of sunshine. However, as of this evening we’re looking at cloudy skies. Rain chances return late tonight past midnight, with off and on (mainly light rain showers) tomorrow. Winds are breezy out of the south with cooler highs in the low-50s and cloudy skies tomorrow.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour tonight, as Daylight Saving Time ends and we gain an hour of sleep.

Rain showers stay in the forecast through Monday, with the slight chance of early morning showers on Election Day. Overall, we have a shot at nearly widespread rainfall across Minnesota into west-central Wisconsin Sunday into Monday night, with 0.25” to 0.50”, with higher totals closer to one inch across the far southeastern metro into southeastern Minnesota.

Election Day we have the chance for morning showers across southeastern Minnesota, with the Twin Cities right on the west/northwestern edge of the potential for Tuesday morning showers. So, stay up to date with the forecast because any track changes could mean significant changes to the Election Day forecast!

Have wonderful weekend!
