Woman killed in Carlton County crash

A 41-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Carlton County on Saturday afternoon.

According to a State Patrol incident report, Rebecca Ann Peterson was driving a Honda Pilot north on I-35 near County Road 61 around 3:12 p.m. in Thompson Township. The vehicle lost control and went off-road, hitting trees.

Peterson was pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital.
