Dry, warmer with an elevated fire risk
After a frosty start to your Wednesday, we’re in for a pleasant rest of the day with sunny skies and warmer temperatures in the low 60s. Today is a seasonable fall forecast for us. However, overall we’re again looking at a warm pattern the rest of the 7-day, with temperatures well above average.
Temperatures tonight won’t be as cold as last night, as most of us stay in the mid to low-40s. Temperatures Up North will be in the 30s tonight. You’ll want some warm layers tomorrow morning, but you can probably ditch some layers by Thursday afternoon.
A Fire Weather Warning is in place for western Minnesota through 7pm tonight. Winds stay breezy overnight and tomorrow’s windy southerly winds and warm weather will likely mean additional fire weather headlines.
With a dry and warm 7-day forecast, you’ll want to be especially careful with any outdoor burning, and stay up to date with your county’s burn restrictions.
High temperatures tomorrow warm to 70° with stronger winds and an elevated fire risk. Friday through the start of next week temperatures stay about fifteen degrees above average.
We don’t have any significant widespread rainfall in the forecast, but some spotty showers are possible late Saturday and again on Monday.
Have a wonderful day!
