Brisk Tuesday, but another warm-up ahead

Frosty start this morning but sunny and pleasant this afternoon

This afternoon brings mainly sunny skies and highs below the average in the low 50s (average is upper 50s) with north winds at 5-15 mph.

After a frosty start to your Tuesday, we’re in for a pleasant rest of the day with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-50s. Today is a seasonable fall forecast for us. However, overall we’re again looking at a warm pattern the rest of the 7-day, with temperatures well above average.

Tonight is a cold one with widespread frost and low-30s in the Twin Cities Wednesday morning. You’ll want some warm layers tomorrow morning, but you can probably ditch some layers by Wednesday afternoon. Tomorrow features breezy winds and warmer temperatures in the low-60s.

Temperatures continue to warm Thursday to near 70° with stronger winds and an elevated fire risk. Friday through the start of next week temperatures stay about fifteen degrees above average.

We don’t have any significant widespread rainfall in the forecast, but some spotty showers are possible late Saturday and again on Monday.

Have a wonderful day!
