Severe weather has passed State Fair, admission now open again

Severe weather has passed the Minnesota State Fair, and admissions gates have re-opened. Fair officials had previously advised everyone to take shelter around 4:45 p.m.

The Mighty Midway, Kidway, adventure Park an other attractions are temporarily closed.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS anchor Lindsey Brown is at the fair and saw police announcing a severe weather alert.

She also saw fairgoers sheltering in the AG-Horticulture building.
