Hazy sunshine, few chances for overnight sctd. storms ahead

The Air Quality Alert for northern Minnesota has expired. However, we do still have some wildfire smoke leading to hazy sunshine at times today in Minnesota. High temperatures today are in the low-80s, with dry skies.

Temperatures tonight are seasonably in the low-60s, with mostly clear skies. Tomorrow starts out sunny, but you’ll notice cloud cover increasing west to east into the afternoon. Spotty showers are possible tomorrow afternoon, more so for western Minnesota. Scattered showers and storms are possible overnight Tuesday into early Wednesday morning, but both days during the daytime are mainly dry. I also don’t expect widespread or heavy rain Tuesday night.

Thursday night into Friday, scattered showers and storms are more likely. That’s when we also building in more heat and humidity Friday into the first weekend of the Minnesota State Fair!

Have a wonderful day!
