Scattered evening storms, few showers tomorrow and dry weekend

Good afternoon! After a soggy night and morning, we’ve actually had a mainly dry Thursday forecast. That being said, low pressure centered over northwestern Minnesota, will still impact our forecast tonight into tomorrow.

Scattered showers and storms develop late this afternoon, with the chance for a few storms during the evening commute. Storms are more likely to form first across western Minnesota and southern Minnesota. So there’s a chance the Twin Cities doesn’t see scattered storms until after the evening commute. Heavy rain, hail and gusty winds are possible with any storms that develop, and isolated severe storms are possible mainly before midnight.

Overnight we stay cloudy with scattered showers and areas of fog. Tomorrow is breezy with northwesterly winds. We keep the chance for showers during the Friday morning commute. Isolated storms are possible tomorrow afternoon, but I do not expect severe weather.

The weekend forecast is warmer with highs back in the low-80s and plenty of sunshine!

Have a wonderful day!
