Highway 169 in St. Louis Park reopens to 1 lane after fuel spill

A portion of Highway 169 between Minnetonka Boulevard and Cedar Lake Road in St. Louis Park has reopened after a fuel spill.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) posted about the spill on 511 just before 3 a.m. Monday.

The impacted portion of the highway partially reopened to one lane around 7:20 a.m., although some delays were reported. However, all lanes had reopened by 8 a.m.

According to MnDOT, the spill happened after a vehicle crashed into the median wall on northbound Highway 169 near Minnetonka Boulevard.

The State Patrol adds the one person inside the involved semi had minor injuries and wasn’t hospitalized.
