Hot and humid weekend, storms late Sunday

Happy Friday and get ready for a stretch of heat and humidity this weekend through next week. It’s already a humid forecast today, with dewpoint 10-15 degrees higher than yesterday at this time. Winds stay out of the south and southeast overnight, building in warmer and humid air across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

High temperatures tomorrow are back in the low-90s, but with higher humidity, it will feel like the mid-90s by the afternoon.

Scattered showers and storms, some of which could be severe are possible tonight and tomorrow mainly northwest of a line from Fargo to Bemidji to International Falls.

Scattered storms are more likely and numerous across Minnesota into western Wisconsin late Sunday. The Twin Cities has the chance for scattered storms, some of which could be severe Sunday night.

Stay safe with this prolonged stretch of heat and take plenty of breaks from the heat as well.

Have a wonderful weekend!
