The Minnesota State Patrol says a woman is dead after she was hit while crossing an intersection Thursday evening in Blaine.
According to an incident report, the crash occurred at 6:35 p.m. on southbound Highway 47 at 85th Avenue when 47-year-old Lavonne Piipke was hit by a southland Toyota Highlander, which had a green light.
