Clearing skies overnight with more sunshine and warmer temperatures tomorrow

Good evening! It’s a blustery evening with partly to mostly cloudy skies. A Wind Advisory remains in place for western and southern Minnesota through 7 PM tonight. Even after the advisory expires, winds stay strong out of the west-northwest overnight through Friday. We keep the chance for a spotty light rain shower this evening mainly across northeastern Minnesota and Wisconsin, but I can’t rule out some evening sprinkles in the metro.

Cloud cover decreases overnight with mainly clear skies late tonight. Friday morning is a sunny and breezy one with warmer temperatures tomorrow reach into the mid to upper-70s. Scattered rain showers and storms (not expected to be severe) return overnight Friday into Saturday morning. Early morning Saturday we dry out west to east, so western Wisconsin could have a few lingering mid-morning showers.

Your weekend forecast is mostly dry with comfortable temperatures in the mid-70s for highs.

Have a wonderful night!
