Air Quality Alert this evening, better air quality and sunshine tomorrow

Good evening! Air quality is improving first north to south this evening. While we still have moderately poor air quality across much of the metro and southern Minnesota. We now only have pockets of unhealthy air (which is worse air quality where people would want to avoid significant time outdoors). Overnight our air quality is greatly improved, with temperatures back in the mid-40s.

Tomorrow’s air quality is better than today’s and temperatures are still comfortably in the low-70s. Tomorrow is another sunny day, but cloud cover starts to increase late Tuesday, first westward then tracking east.

Wednesday kickstarts a stretch of rain and storm chances each day through the weekend. HOWEVER, we don’t have a washout any given day, and the vast majority of these chances are only near about a 30% chance.

The only exception to this looks the likely chance for rain and scattered storms late Wednesday, overnight into early Thursday.

Have a wonderful night!
