1 dead after crash in Inver Grove Heights

One person is dead after a car crash in Inver Grove Heights early Sunday morning.

According to police, authorities responded to the 7800 block of Dempsey Way at 2:50 a.m. on report of a car crash. When they arrived, responders found a single car had crashed with an unresponsive male inside.

The male, later identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner as 18-year-old Eh Lee from St. Paul, died on scene.

The crash is being investigated by the Inver Grove Heights Police Department with assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol.
