Spotty rain showers tonight and tomorrow, with a rain/snow mix in southern Minnesota

Good evening! Today has stayed cloudy, but dry in the Twin Cities. That being said, we do have the chance for a few spotty rain showers this evening. The chance for a passing shower is greater across the south metro. Otherwise, rain showers are in place across southern Minnesota, and these showers will mix with snow overnight. Some minor slushy snow accumulation is possible by tomorrow morning across far southeastern Minnesota.

Winds end up breezy tomorrow, with temperatures back in the mid to upper-40s and mostly cloudy skies. We keep the chance for spotty showers in the forecast tomorrow into Tuesday evening, but we are not looking at significant moisture/accumulation.

The bigger weather headline is the return of sunshine and warmth. Wednesday starts out with a good deal of cloud cover, but we end up with mostly sunny skies with highs in the low-50s. Sunshine holds Thursday and Friday with temperatures in the low-60s. Rain chances return by Sunday.

Have a wonderful night!
