Hmong International Freedom Festival canceled due to COVID-19 concerns
The 2020 Hmong International Freedom Festival has been canceled.
According to the statement, the United Hmong Family Inc. (UHF) decided to cancel the festival that was going to take place on July 4 and 5, due to the health and safety concerns regarding COVID-19.
"Because the health and safety of all participants are out highest priority, cancellation is not only the responsible thing to do, it is the right course of action to take." said UHF.
UHF does plan to continue the festival next year in the summer of 2021.
"Our sincere appreciation goes out to all those who have already invested a lot of time and efforts preparing for the festival this year," said UHF.
