State Patrol: Frazee woman killed in weekend crash near Detroit Lakes
Authorities say one person is dead following a crash Sunday morning in Becker County.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. on Highway 10 in Burlington Township, just outside of Detroit Lakes.
A Jeep Grand Cherokee was headed east in the left lane of Highway 10 near 290th Avenue when a Buick Lesabre tried to cross the highway, but pulled out in front of the Jeep.
The Jeep then crashed into the driver’s side of the Buick.
On Monday, the Minnesota State Patrol announced 83-year-old Fern Bernice Brown of Frazee had died from her injuries. Brown was listed as the driver of the Buick.
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger of the Jeep, both of Wadena, were brought to Essentia for non-life-threatening injuries.
All three were listed as wearing their seat belts.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
