Chilly Tuesday morning, but another midweek warm-up on the way
Here’s your Monday evening forecast for December 11, 2023 from Minnesota’s Weather Authority and Meteorologist Wren Clair.
Good evening! With a cold front moving through Minnesota and Wisconsin, winds stay breezy and temperatures remain seasonably cool. With breezy west-northwesterly winds overnight into Tuesday morning, most of us will wake up to what will feel like single digits. Tuesday is a breezy forecast, with highs in the upper-20s. As high pressure builds in from out west, winds will lighten Tuesday night. Winds shift from the west-northwest to a southwesterly wind and temperatures again warm to above average highs by Wednesday.
Wednesday’s highs are in the mid to upper-30s, with partly sunny skies. By Thursday and Friday high temperatures are in the mid-40s for the Twin Cities. Thursday is breezy, with increasing cloud cover overnight Thursday. Friday looks to be the cloudiest day of the workweek, with the chance for light scattered PM rain showers, with a wintry mix possible Friday PM into Saturday AM Up North. Most of this 7-day is dry, with not significant rain or snow accumulation in the forecast.
Have a wonderful night!
