Refrigerator leak at Andover McDonald’s leads to Hazmat response
The Andover Fire Department responded to a hazmat incident during the overnight hours on Friday.
Fire crews say the incident involved a walk-in cooler at a McDonald’s that potentially leaked a substance just before 1:30 a.m.
Two employees reported some difficulty breathing and eye irritation but were later cleared by medics on the scene.
Crews worked to ventilate and decontaminate the store, officials say.
