Roseville’s Ferring Pharmaceuticals announces dozens to be laid off next year

Dozens of workers at a Roseville business will be laid off next year.

According to a WARN letter sent to the State Rapids Response Team by Ferring Pharmaceuticals, about 55 employees will be permanently laid off starting Feb. 5, 2024.

According to a company spokesperson, about a quarter of the positions at the Rebiotix site in Roseville are being eliminated after the company “optimized resources to alight with its revised business strategy.”

The spokesperson adds employees were notified of the layoffs this past week and some were given an option to move into new roles if it was possible to do so.

The letter adds the employees aren’t union represented.
