Man hospitalized for potentially life-threatening injuries after being hit by car in Minneapolis
Police say a man was taken to the hospital for potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Minneapolis early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the intersection of 22nd Avenue West and Lyndale Avenue South just after 2:30 a.m.
Preliminary information suggests the man was not in the crosswalk while crossing the street, according to police.
The driver remained at the scene and is reportedly cooperating with police.
State Patrol assisted with reconstruction and MPD forensic scientists processed the scene.
