Man shot Tuesday evening in North Minneapolis

Minneapolis police say a shooting Tuesday evening in the city’s north side believe the incident happened after an escalation from an argument and an assault.

According to police, officers were called to the 1300 block of West Broadway around 8:12 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his 30s, who had injuries that didn’t appear to be life-threatening.

He was then taken to North Memorial Medical Center.

No word on who else was involved in the incident, what the argument was about, or who pulled the trigger.

Police haven’t said if anyone is in custody for the shooting.
