Minneapolis police: Woman hit by tow truck may have been intoxicated
Minneapolis police say a woman is recovering from injuries they say aren’t life-threatening after she was hit by a tow truck Tuesday on the city’s south side.
According to police, officers were called to the intersection of Hiawatha Avenue and East Lake Street for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian around 8:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a woman in her 30s, who was taken to HCMC for her injuries.
Police add the woman was hit by a tow truck and the driver is cooperating with police. As of this time, no information about the driver has been released.
