Man found dead during Thief River Falls fire

A man’s body was found inside a burning home in Thief River Falls on Monday.
A news release from the Thief River Falls Police Department says crews responded to the blaze on the 500 block of Knight Avenue North just before 6 p.m.
The body was reportedly found while the fire was being extinguished.
Authorities say the cause of the fire is still being investigated but no foul play is suspected and there’s no threat to the public.
Police also say the man’s name will be released when his family is notified.
