Man dead, 2 treated after Long Lake house fire

A man was pronounced dead in an overnight house fire just west of the metro.
The fire broke out just before 11 p.m. Sunday at a house in Long Lake, near Orono. A KSTP crew at the scene reported the fire was in the area of Willow Drive North and Sixth Avenue.
Authorities said three people were trapped on the second floor of the home when firefighters arrived. Two of the three adults were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Authorities said the house was destroyed in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
