4-month-old dies after found not breathing at Bloomington hotel, police investigating

Police are investigating after a 4-month-old died Tuesday morning in Bloomington.

The Bloomington Police Department said officers were called to the Days Inn on Normandale Boulevard at about 3:41 a.m. on a report of a child not breathing.

After arriving on scene, first responders made contact with the parents and their unconscious 4-month-old daughter.

Police said lifesaving measures were attempted and the child was taken to a hospital, but later died there.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the parents are cooperating with the investigation.
