Minnetonka police investigating dead body found near I-494

Minnetonka police are investigating after a body was found near Interstate 494.
According to the Minnetonka Police Department, at approximately 7:34 a.m. on Wednesday officers were called to investigate a death near I-494 and Whitewater Drive.
An employee of a nearby business discovered a deceased man in a wooded area and called 911, police said.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the name and cause of death in the coming days.
On Tuesday afternoon, a car chase ended nearby with police blocking both sides of I-494 to search for a suspect. Police, however, are not connecting the two incidents at this point.
