UPDATE 11:25 a.m. – Wyoming police say a man has turned himself in after a woman was killed late Thursday night when she was hit by a vehicle following a domestic incident.

According to an update provided by police late Friday morning, officers were called by the suspect – identified as a 37-year-old Wyoming, Minnesota man -before 10 a.m., who asked them to meet him at his home.

Shortly after, police say they arrested him at his Wyoming home. They also found the vehicle suspected to have hit the woman – described as a white pickup truck – nearby.

The woman was hit in a Holiday gas station parking lot just before 10:30 p.m.

Although the victim’s name hasn’t been released due to family notification, Wyoming police identified her as a 51-year-old from St. Paul.

Police aren’t looking for any other suspects or vehicles at this time.

INITIAL STORY 6:53 a.m. – An investigation is underway after a woman was hit and killed by a vehicle late Thursday night in Wyoming, Minnesota.

Officials say the woman was hit just before 10:30 p.m. at the Holiday gas station on 26720 Kettle River Boulevard, which is west of the East Viking Boulevard exit on I-35. Police add she was hit after a domestic disturbance.

Wyoming police responded to the scene and found the suspect had left in a white pickup truck. Investigators are currently searching for the suspect.

The woman died on the scene from her injuries, police say. No other information about the woman has been provided at this time due to family notification.
