Bloomington police searching for suspect seen repeatedly running over cat

Bloomington police released photos of a suspect seen running over a cat last month.

The Bloomington Police Department said they are searching for a suspect seen running over a cat in a black Kia Soul.

More info: This incident was reported on 5/9 by a “passerby” who saw the deceased cat on Florida Ave while driving. We retrieved the cat up from the roadway at approx 10:30 am on the 9th. We rcvd a phone call stating the company they work for near 105th and Florida had video.

Police say the driver was seen placing a cat underneath the front passenger tire and running it over, killing it. The driver then circled back and ran the cat over again.

Investigators say this happened at the intersection of 105th Street and Florida Avenue last month.

The vehicle appears to be a newer black Kia Soul.
