Woman charged with murder in connection to Maple Grove homicide

A woman has been charged in connection with a homicide that took place Thursday in Maple Grove.

According to the Maple Grove Police Department, Stephanie Louise Clark, 29, of Maple Grove, is in custody and has been formally charged with second-degree murder. The Hennepin County District Court set her bail at $1 million.

Maple Grove Police officers responded to a report of an unconscious person just after 6 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived at the home on the 6200 block of Magda Drive, they learned a domestic disturbance had occurred. An adult was found dead at the scene.

Authorities have yet to publicly identify the victim.

Clark's first court appearance is set for Monday afternoon.
