First responders rescue 2 kids from Vermillion River

Two juveniles were rescued from the Vermillion River around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday evening, according to the Hastings Fire Department.
The juveniles had made their way onto a rock in the middle of the river, but fire crews couldn’t reach them due to the high and fast-moving water.
A Minnesota Air Rescue Team dropped a line and rescued them, officials said.
The juveniles were not injured.
