Minneapolis Fed offering free tours to the public this spring
The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is opening its doors for free tours this spring.
The 75-minute tours are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 p.m. and Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
With the popular musical “Hamilton” coming to the Orpheum Theater this April, the tour will include a special exhibit that relates Alexander Hamilton’s story to the work done by the Fed.
“While we love the musical, the work that we do at the Minneapolis Fed isn’t show biz. Monetary policy, banking supervision, and financial services are serious business,” said Karmi Mattson, assistant vice president of regional outreach and public programs. “We’re excited to invite showgoers to learn more about the work we do to pursue a growing economy and a stable financial system that work for all of us.”
Advance registration is required and can be found here.
