Roseville wins Section 5AAAA with six point win over Maple Grove

The Roseville girls basketball team is returning to the state tournament for the second straight season after defeating Maple Grove 68-62 Friday night in the Section 5AAAA title game.
Roseville junior point guard Kendall Barnes led Roseville with 31 points in the win, she scored 18 of those points in the second half against Maple Grove.

With the win, Roseville qualified for State for the tenth time in program history.
Maple Grove senior and Minnesota Gophers commit Kennedy Klick finished with 18 points.
