Four more cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Minnesota.
The Minnesota Department of Health confirmed Thursday that a total of nine cases have now been confirmed in the state.

The confirmed cases are in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Olmsted, Ramsey and Stearns counties.
According to MDH, a total of 316 patients have been tested for COVID-19.

So far, all nine cases are believed to be travel-related, the MDH said.
According to a news release, the Stearns County patient returned from a Caribbean cruise on March 6. The next day, the person, who is in their 60s, felt sick, stayed home from work and sought medical care, testing positive for COVID-19.
Only one other person was reported to have come in contact with the patient — a household contact — and that person is showing no symptoms. Both the patient and the person who was exposed are self-quarantined at home.
