Early morning MSP flights delayed due to icy conditions

Icy conditions delayed several flights at MSP early Wednesday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Airport Commission.
Crews are currently working to treat runways and clear ice off of aircraft.
The weather-related delays came before the FAA announced all U.S. departures were delayed until 8 a.m. Central Time due to a computer outage. That outage created widespread delays across the country. Watch coverage of that from ABC News in the video player below.
The spokesperson for MAC said that flights will experience a slowdown of activity as crews work to create safe conditions.
