Glenwood City School District cancels classes, activities Friday due to threat
Students in one St. Croix County school district won’t be having classes Friday due to a threat.
According to a message on the district’s website, Glenwood City Schools will be closed for the day after the district received a threatening e-mail.
The website posting linked to a Facebook post, which said the district is closing out of extreme caution. The full Facebook post can be found below.
According to Glenwood City Police Chief Robert Darwin, the threat was made to the district, staff and students. Chief Darwin adds all activities are canceled Friday as well in addition to classes.
Additional information is expected to be provided at some point by the district.
