A St. Paul man helped shovel out several neighbors Tuesday and, in the process, lost his wedding ring.
Desperate and depressed, Evan Almeida posted his sad story on Nextdoor looking for a metal detector to find his ring.
Painfully, Evan had to tell his new bride, Grace, that he lost his wedding ring.
“He just said, ‘I can’t find my wedding ring, must have fallen off somewhere,'” Grace Almeida said. “We’ll do everything we can to try to find it.”
“She’s like, ‘It’s OK,’ and I’m like, ‘No, it’s not,'” Evan said. “We’ve only been married since July and I already lost my wedding ring. I would love to get the ring back. I adore that ring.”
All Seasons Rental in Lino Lakes lent a metal detector to help find the ring with no luck.
The couple hopes the ring shows up soon or at least when the snow melts.
