BCA: Willmar teen found safe in North Dakota

UPDATE: The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says Chloe Garcia was found safe in Jamestown, N.D.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Willmar teen.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says 17-year-old Chloe Lynn Garcia was last seen on Nov. 9. Authorities didn’t immediately state why an alert wasn’t issued earlier for Garcia.

In addition to the Willmar area, authorities say Garcia has known ties to Jamestown, N.D., and parts of Nebraska and Texas.

The BCA says her legal guardian is listed as Kandiyohi County Family Services.

She’s described as being around 5-foot-6 and 130 pounds with red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone who sees her or knows where she might be is asked to call police at 320-235-2244.
