Teen wounded by gunfire in Minneapolis, will survive

Minneapolis police say a 16-year-old boy was shot on East Lake Street Saturday night.

Officers say they responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of East Lake Street and 18th Ave. South just after 8:45 p.m.

Police then found the teenager, who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and took him to the hospital.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is underway.
