TRIA Prep Salute, Dec. 6: Maple Grove senior QB Jacob Kilzer

Every Tuesday at 6:50 p.m. during the school year, we recognize a high school athlete or team with our TRIA Prep Salute.
This week’s honoree is Maple Grove senior quarterback Jacob Kilzer. He helped lead the Crimson to the 6A state championship.

Kilzer threw for 1,352 yards and 13 touchdowns and had 1,273 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. He ran for two scores and threw for another, a 45-yarder, in the Prep Bowl.
In two-plus seasons as the starter, Kilzer finished with a record of 26-2.
