Bloomington homicide suspect in custody, apprehended in Oklahoma

A suspect is in custody in connection to a homicide Wednesday in Bloomington, according to police.

The Bloomington Police Department says 47-year-old Aaron Le of Texas was taken into custody overnight in Oklahoma.
Police say Le was identified as a suspect and was believed to be driving a white Mercedes Sprinter van with no license plates after fleeing the crime scene yesterday.
With the assistance of law enforcement in Kansas and Oklahoma, Le was taken into custody around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in Oklahoma, the Bloomington Police Department said.
He is being held in the Kay County Jail, authorities say.
Wednesday afternoon, a gunman opened fire inside a restaurant in Bloomington, killing one person and injuring another.
The shooting happened just after 1 p.m. at Cô Tư Oriental Cuisine, which is in a shopping center near 89th Street and Penn Avenue, according to Bloomington police. A 49-year-old patron of the restaurant was killed, and a 25-year-old server was shot twice but is expected to recover.
Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges said the gunman entered Cô Tư Oriental Cuisine brandishing a firearm, and people inside reportedly fought him off and pushed him out twice before he came back in a third time and opened fire inside.
