Body recovered from Lake Minnetonka

An investigation is underway after a body was recovered from Lake Minnetonka on Monday.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office reports it responded, along with Orono police, to Lafayette Bay on the lake after receiving reports of a body.

The body was recovered by the Mound Fire Department, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office is investigating and no additional information was made immediately available.
