Man injured in Jordan neighborhood shooting

Minneapolis police say a man is recovering from what they say is a potentially life-threatening injury after being shot Thursday night.

According to police, officers were called to the 2600 block of Penn Avenue North just after 8:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man outside who had been shot. His age wasn’t immediately provided.

He was treated at the scene and then taken to North Memorial Medical Center. His condition hasn’t been provided by police as of this time.

No one has been arrested as of this publishing.

The shooting is still being investigated.
