It’s the season of ghosts and goblins.
In Anoka, known as “The Halloween Capital of the World,” some deal with ghostly activity all year long.
Mac and Laurie MacKechnie’s Anoka home was built in 1867. They say the house is filled with ghostly activity.
“Luckily, we have a good ghost or two in the house,” Laurie MacKechnie said.
The couple’s home is on the Ghosts of Anoka Walking Tour. Sara Given is a tour guide.
“The stories that on our ghost tour are told to us by the people who experienced it,” Given said. “There’s something about the unexplained and stories that we don’t know what’s going on.”
